Hi and happy New Year! Thanks for the great works here. Just a question, which tool could I use to convert the .tex images of the "xbox one" addon to png? I'm trying to port "xbox one" addon to the "Final Fantasy VII Italian ReTranslation for 7th Heaven [1.02]" and if could check the exactly buttons layout on your font file would be really helpfull. Thanks in advance ;)
happy new year! To convert tex to png I use Vincent Tim http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=15404.0 : it's a command line tool but works very well.
As the button layout is the same of reunion psx layout.. you can also download the hd addon to see the positions (the buttons are in the same position in the tex files). The buttons are in the files usfont_a_h and usfont_a_l. Probably you will need to change the button position because Italian ReTranslation for 7th Heaven is very similar to caledor port and Caledor doesn't use button in his release (2 are also removed for other character) or reencode flevel with touphscript with new button layout

I tried removing my HDMI cable, use head phone and speakers, but the problem is the same.

Also the Hext.log and The_Reunion.log doesn't show any error, the Audio Replacement load just fine.

Try the fixed dll in my thread http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=19551.0 (it's in known issue section) I've got the same error when r06f was released(first to report bug) and than it was fixed by daniel

Hi All,

I'm sure this question has been asked a million times but this forum is complicated and difficult to navigate. I installed r06 without issue to a clean steam copy of FF7. However when I run the game the mods aren't working. I hear this may be a ddraw.dll issue but I don't know what that means or how to fix it.

Any help would be great!

Maybe I would do a different .zip package with modified font-sheets? Will it be ok?

As the author of the italian porting translation a different zip file for the fonts would be perfect, thanks. So the compatibility with other language will not be broken

And give me a degree symbol position - in your screens it has screen with gender symbols

Nice! So do these have to be modified in some way to work, or you just past them into reunion directory and it will work?

for the models need also flevel.lgp edit or scene.bin edit (for battle model). Only red soldiers with no gun works out of the box because repalce default train guard (azhe)

Question, does the ability to have miss Cloud's model altered depending on the wig requires modyfing the original english reunion, or is it already included?

Not included in reunion english, needs flevel.lgp edit.

That is v strange.  There is no reason audio should fail for you if it worked for R06e.  It's feeding -1 to the audio same as the other did.

Did R06e work?

reinstalled r06e now and the sound works

Make sure options.ini you're using is the one installed with R06f.  It has a new option and device setting to  -1.

it's a fresh install after unistallation from steam and the ini has the -1

If that's no go, try IDs starting from 1.

tested from -1 to 15 and no luck

only with Disable_The_Reunion = y i can have the audio back

my audio driver should be nvidia high definition audio

in my case the game is with no sound. When starts i can hear the eidos logo sound and the squaresoft with chocobo sound but when i go to the main menu and in game i have no sound

Quando vai nel gold saucer, dalle corse dei chocobo, se chiedi informazioni alla tipa su come si cavalca un chocobo, mi dà quelle istruzioni di cui ti parlavo prima. Mi è capitato in un'altra occasione che i tasti fossero diversi, però purtroppo ora non ricordo :( Ci devo pensare un attimo. Grazie comunque per la risposta!



Edit: tra l'altro, se ricordo bene, le istruzioni erano ugualmente sbagliate anche alla tua prima gara col chocobo, sai, quando devi gareggiare per poter uscire dalla prigione? Non so se a livello di programmazione queste cose siano collegate.

ho controllato ed ho effettivamente sbagliato ad impostare il programma che sostituisce i testi... non so cosa avevo bevuto ma ci doveva essere X e non O. Quando uscirà la r06f rilascio l'update.
X e O invertite anche nei tutorial testuali

Non so se sia la giusta sede in cui parlarne, ma riguardo alla mod dei tasti psx, ogni tanto non è corretta. Ad esempio per le spiegazioni dei comandi del chocobo, l'addetta dice "Accelerare quadrato, e rallentare rotondo", e fin qui va bene, poi aggiunge "per fare uno scatto, rotondo". E qua non va bene, dovrebbe dire X. Ho provato a togliere la mod per vedere se la correlazione fosse sbagliata di base, ma invece vedo che la correlazione è giusta (Dice tipo, per accelerare [cambio], per rallentare [annulla] e per fare lo scatto [conferma]).
Quindi è la mod che ha un problema? Ho provato pure cambiare i tasti ma le istruzioni rimangono le medesime.
I tasti nelle descrizioni sono fissi, non cambiano se modifichi le impostazioni. Per quell'addon uso un programma che modifica automaticamente le scritte [conferma] o [annulla] con il corrispettivo Xbox/psx e poi ricompilo il flevel.lgp. Tutto è basato sulla testo di caledor.
Poi ricontrollo se ho configurato male la sostituzione automatica del testo. Mi dici solo dove questo accade? O se ci sono altri problemi?

Is there updated documentation for this tool?

I am looking to edit in-game dialogue, but touphScript doesn't seem to accept different line counts.
I know it's possible because Beacause does it, but...

touphScript doesn't accept different line counts. If you want to add new text you need to use makou reactor to add new text entries (and change field script)

i'm using the continuous version and in the location tab i've found this problem with crcin_2: the id, location name, picture are from gonjun1 and if i select crcin_2 the savegame load to gonjun1
I don't know if it is a problem or intended behavior.

Hey USB, i know it's won't be easy as it seems, and work on Italian Reunion must take a lot of time for you, but whenever it's possible, could you post some of the fixes and addons for an english one too, somewhere with a separate link? Some changes you do, like option for transparent battle, field models,  shop menu fixes and descriptions are great, but as far as i know, those can't be added to the english version.

Don't expect anything in short time... if you have some knowledge with makou reactor you can use my new model (vanilla inside new translation\ char folder or model overhaul) and put in the field (according to the list in first post).
All my exe editing are in hext folder (some are in separate files and most inside ita_fix file): most are commented to know what they modify

Or with touphscript you can dump eng text and patch my italian version (but in this case there should be some problem in some field for added new text and choice variable modified)
