Wow at the last Ruby Weapon. Finally a textured model that looks like the goddamn thing instead of some giant made of random jewelery.

I think Jenova was the only one of her kind and even if she wasn't sayings (her people) sounds like they are her equalSephiroth didn't know about Jenova being an alien (and thus alone). Sephiroth refers to her "people" as the Ancients, since that's what he believed she actually was. Only later he discovers the truth and never again mentions these other people.
Imho I think that "Lifestream" should not be translated because it's the same in JAP and US version. I'll keep "Lifestream"instead of the Italian translation "Flusso Vitale". Only a suggestionSeifer is just redoing the movies with the original SadNES cITy's script. Their translation refers to Lifestream as Flusso Vitale, hence why it should stay the same.
The Italian version is from a request and not the original text. I'd do more but it takes way too long. Then just do the revision with the best translation.
A future version is going to allow importing a menu font map like the one he showed a few posts down. I'm going to modify the "raw data" window to show what text will look like from the game's perspective. That will also have a grid that you can click on to add special characters and stuff. So you're going to add real support for Japanese encodings as well?
Anyhoo, anyone who really cares about space will just, y'know, delete the redundant scenes. In some cases that's just not enough. My SCENE.BIN is 264 KB and I *did* remove all the empty scenes and subcompressed the hell out of every string.
Or, Gemini has some translation tools that'll do it. I looked at his sourcecode, it looks as though he uses some 'generic' gnu ISO handling lib to do the reinsertion, so I guess it wouldn't be out of the question to produce another, similar program, that didn't rely on Visual C.GNU ISO handling lib? I have no idea what you're even talking about. There's isn't a single piece of GNU code in my libraries.
I am sure Gemini had this problem too. Basically the boxes for this and certain other dialogue inside md8_3 are not editable inside loveless. You mean the HUGE BOX problem? Yeah, I had that problem a long time ago, but with the new window reallocation system it's there no more.
