And why do you think I'm letting Nanaki waste her time on the stupid trick? The one I was annoyed about simply came by accident. I didn't mean to be level 99, but I'm glad I was. Sephiroth was sooooooooo easy. If it happened it happened, if it didn't it didn't, but I was gutted, cause my Dad managed it. Ah, typical good old, SSDD.

(For all you Stephen King readers, you'll know what that means.)

-_-  *squint* Erm.... well, that's certainly a different one - have you actually done it? It seems a bit extreme - the game took 4 years to develop as it is. Do you really think they'd go to all the trouble of putting that in there aswell? Seems unlikely.

No, as a matter of fact I very rarely believe any of these. The one I was talking about actually happened. But, the one I previously posted about Tifa and Aeris, I don't believe, but my friend is just testing for the plain fun of it. So, no. I don't believe anything.  :)

Uh-huh...........  right.....

I just wanted to know if anyone else had had this happen to them. It isn't about me being fooled, I just need to know if the one-on-one battle really occurs. My Dad (the one who got me into the FF series in the first place) said that he had had that battle. I wonder if you have to be level 99 before the Mako pit....hmmm.....

Maybe one of them must work, though I'm not so sure......It may depend on what format you play it on. I play it on my PS2, but a lot of people play it on PC as I found out.......maybe thopse endings work on certain formats?

Also, another rumor I heard, was that if you spend the whole game being really horrid to Tifa, and really sickly nice to Aeris, then during Aeris' death scene, Tifa will push Aeris out of then way, and take Sephiroth's blade herself, leaving Aeris in the game. I don't know if it works. My friend says she's trying it out, but, we're a bit sceptical.

Hell am I miffed!
My FFVII game is soooooo evil! Last time I completed thegame, I was level 97 when I defeated Sephiroth. However, using the same save (from the Mako pit) I bumped myself up to level 99 after the battle with Jenova. I was told that at level 99, after defeating the first 2 types of Sephiroth, that Cloud would go into a one-on-one battle with Sephiroth himself, rather than go into Omnislash like he did last time.

Guess What?!?!?!?! It didn't.

Contra, I totally agree, well, I think the theory about the Reunion is a good one, and plausible but I don't know whether I'll accept that into my personal beliefs, but still, top theory!

Someone else who totally thinks Lucrecia was raped! Woohoo!

I'm sorry if this is offensive, Hybir, but I found that comment hilarious!  :D    Not in a bad way though, I just had visions of a darth vader with a long red cape, a claw and long black hair.........lol

You never know, his body may have been tampered with in a similar way........oh dear, I'm thinking, dangerous...

good bl**dy question. Incase you hadn't noticed, I was for vampires, but more for V.V. I'm certainly not a vampire hater, and seriously, who really cares if anyone does hate vampires? Everyone's entitled totheir own opinion

Ot - Hey gal, how you doin? You sound desperate. See you on mon. - END

Right, on to the topic. If you must know, Ged, I absolutely love the vampire phenomenon. Yes I have read the Anne Rice books, and am enthralled by the phenomenon, so I will agree with you on that fact.

But, Nanaki is right, and soshe should be, for she knows me and my crazy obsessions quite well. I myself once compared Vincent to the Vampire, then realised that, as Nanaki quite rightly said, Vincent is far more superior. Don't get me wrong, Vampires are powerful, immense creatures, full of mystery, despair, and a host of other things (you take your own view on that part) but Vincent is far more mysterious and has a much deeper past than any vampire could ever dream to have.

Ok, I was just going to nod, smile and say, "Why yes! Of course, I understand perfectly!" When o course I don't, but I'll try make some sense of it. Remember, I'm 15, and not necessarily a genius with a computer, but here goes:

So, I'm assuming:
 - you have to go into the data on the disc to edit it,
 - flevel.lgp being a form of data written on the disc, right?
 - And, of course, the other two are programs that will allow you to do this. Ok I think I follow you now, providing I've got the gist of it all correct......

It's all very confusing, programming, it really is.. :-?  :erm:

Jari, get a hold of yourself, gees.....

Hey, er....I'm kinda...confuzzled...how do you edit data that's already been prewritten on a disc? I'm really confused....help!

I agree, they do look good, but I think I like the platinum ones anyway...after all, it's not what the discs look like, it's their content.....you can't play a game just admiring the graphics in the surface of the disc!!!!

Yeah, speaking of which, I was playing it today, and to be honest, there's everything on the UK ones.......well, everything Niai pointed out anyway, but, I do know this, there's only about half the fight sequences and battles in the UK and European versions. The Japanese version has loads more fighting..(on the world map).

The mere fact tyhat you have to remember those times is sad.......we should all get along, still. Anyway, one of them is banned, the other has a warning, at least things may quieten down again............. :erm:
Well, I think I speak for everyone when I say..."At least, I hope it will......."

Ya, my point exactly, but vampire.........it's too far fetched. It's too cheesey for Seven. I mean, it has such an in-depth storyline, making Vincent a mere vampire would be simply,.....wel......pathetic, really.

However, I do agree, his is one of the most, if not the most interesting character in the game.

I love that theory, Ged. There're just a couple of flaws I see with it. Mind if I point out my theory? If yes, then you needn't read the rest of this post. (lol)

*Spoilers*

Firstly, Vincent cannot be a vampire, simply because he did not choose the coffin as his resting place - he was forced to sleep there. This is prboed by a letterleft by Hojo, about 'His little game'. For those who have not read this letter, it reads as follows:
"I must get rid of all those that stand in the way of my research. Even that one from the Turks.
I scientifically altered him, and put him to sleep in the basement. If you want to find him, then search the area.
But...this is merely a game I thought of. It is not necessary for you to participate if you don't want to."

It then goes on to explain how to figure the dials on the safe. This clearly states that Vincent is not in the basement or in the coffin of his own free will.

Vincent can't have been forced to become a clone, especially not of Sephiroth. He was alive when Sephiroth was born. He was Lucrecia's lover, and so he and Sephiroth cannot possible be 'brothers'. It defies all laws of Biology, no matter how twisted Hojo is. And what you said about his deciding to leave the world due to his wisdom - that can't be true because of the letter. It's clear that none of this in any way was planned or wanted for by Vincent himself.

I agree however, about the Jenova cells. Hojo appears to have had an obsession with them, and would experimant with them whatever way possible. About the wisodm part I'm not so sure, because there are many things that he learns thoughout the gamejourney with Cloud and co. Even reserved, wise old Vincent isn't a genius. He was a turk for [deity's] sake. A clever one, no doubt, but not a genius.

I also agree with the age theory. He is un-ageing, which as you said, is sad for him, for he must watch all those he ever has been or becomes attached to in his lifetime die. Never a good thing.

Just a few points I felt I should contribute. Sorry if that riled you though!

Lots of people are fans of him, especially here, but it would seem that this guy is obsessed with him. I mean, we all have our little fantasies (and none of you can deny it, before you start) and some of us live them, but to take a fantasy from a video game and try and realise it is extremely sad. Has anyone tried telling him what a jerk he's being and that he has no concept whatsoever of the true character of Vincent Valentine? If you have, then I'm not sure what to do aside from book him an appointment with the local psychiatrist.

Yeah, sorry I've been away for a while, (not that any of you would have noticed)...I didn't have much to say, but I'm back now..!!

Oh, and er, welcome, Abiko!!

Mako Energy is Lifestream. Mirgar use a Mako Reactor to sucks the Lifestream and convert it into Mako Energy. If you see Red 13's grandfather and Barret talking about it, you will know what it is.

Yes, I'm well aware of that. I did pay attention to all the fine details too you know. My point was that was just what I'd read it was called. I never said they were two different things. That's all, sorry.

I think I read somewhere that it was called the Mako Stream.......makes sense I suppose, providing we're all on about the same stream.....glowing light thing......

It's still really good. I like the texture in his hair, as it goes. I agree with the side view comment by the way...he does look "determined".

There's one in the Northern Crater? Where?

I guess they're all cool...but Diablos would have to be my fave....simply cause he looks so cool....euch, I sound wierd..

Go to the Battle Arena. Build up your battle points, then buy it with them....at least I think it's there. Or, you could just buy it from one of the towns...I think it's mideel, but I'm not sure, so don't quote me on that.

I like it too. Yes, he does look like a girl, but frankly, he looks somewhat realistic. I like his/her use of mediums, too. They have a great effect.

Ok, you know you don't need this, but they're fantastic.I've seen some fan representations of Sephiroth, but you really do do him justice.  The sketches are spot-on. You can't go wrong with those. They're ot out of proportion, which seems to catch most artists off-guard when replicating Sephiroth. However, you've kept aware, so like I said before, the sketches are A*. And the full-colour picture? Definitely one of the best I've seen. So many ameteurs really dress him down, dragging his usually electrifying presence down with it. The pictures just don't seem to thrill as they should. I know that sounds odd, but I hope you understand what I mean.

I agree with what you said about FF-AC Sephiroth. They did make him look wierd. The unnatural psychotic look was really unnnecessary, but then, who's going to tell Square that?
