Hell am I miffed!
My FFVII game is soooooo evil! Last time I completed thegame, I was level 97 when I defeated Sephiroth. However, using the same save (from the Mako pit) I bumped myself up to level 99 after the battle with Jenova. I was told that at level 99, after defeating the first 2 types of Sephiroth, that Cloud would go into a one-on-one battle with Sephiroth himself, rather than go into Omnislash like he did last time.

Guess What?!?!?!?! It didn't.

On the same topic, I also heard this really tricky way to actually revive Aeris, you had to do a whole bunch of stuff involving the church but then you got her back in a special scene and she also shows up in the ending!! Honestly! ;)

Ha! I actually tried that once. It was one of those, "I never tried it myself but told it works," theories. They'll never die...
...nor should they. It keeps hope alive, disappointment high, and confusion abundant.

Still, one of them must work. Right?

Ya, I hear lots of rumors about soldier 1/32's and tissues.  Some are unbelivably ridiculous, but whatever.  Anyways, I beat Sephiroth yesterday! Lv 60, and he was really easy (kefka was way harder in my opinion), but you want to know my beef??!  I get into the "final" battle with sephiroth (the one where cloud automattically does omnislash) and I paused it so my brother could see b/c neither of us have seen omnislash, nad anyways, when I unpause it, sephiroth attacks before I could press OK and cloud counterattacks killing him, !!!! dang it I wanted to see omnislash... I also hated how the move supernova took like 10 minutes to complete, other than that, good game, good game   .

Yes, and did you know that there is also added an extra movie at the end, with Aeris naked ? ;)

Uh-huh...........  right.....

I just wanted to know if anyone else had had this happen to them. It isn't about me being fooled, I just need to know if the one-on-one battle really occurs. My Dad (the one who got me into the FF series in the first place) said that he had had that battle. I wonder if you have to be level 99 before the Mako pit....hmmm.....

Maybe one of them must work, though I'm not so sure......It may depend on what format you play it on. I play it on my PS2, but a lot of people play it on PC as I found out.......maybe thopse endings work on certain formats?

Also, another rumor I heard, was that if you spend the whole game being really horrid to Tifa, and really sickly nice to Aeris, then during Aeris' death scene, Tifa will push Aeris out of then way, and take Sephiroth's blade herself, leaving Aeris in the game. I don't know if it works. My friend says she's trying it out, but, we're a bit sceptical.

No offense, but you’ll really believe anything, huh?

Don’t waste your time no these rumors anymore.

No, as a matter of fact I very rarely believe any of these. The one I was talking about actually happened. But, the one I previously posted about Tifa and Aeris, I don't believe, but my friend is just testing for the plain fun of it. So, no. I don't believe anything.  :)

Well, we can view all the movies in the game, and there wasn't any bits with Aeris in after disc 2, so we can be almost certain that there's no way to get her back. Also, we can also view all the text in the game and there's barely any text for her after disc 2. There was alittle bit of text though when she's meant to be dead, which is kinda weird. But I'm guessing that they just put that in by accident.

Have you ever heard about the butcher?  He's a hidden character in FF7.

To get the Butcher:

Make sure you DO NOT sell the original Bronze Bangle that Cloud has equiped at the beginning of the game. Leave it on him until you sell all of the other ones you have, because you MUST have that exact Bronze Bangle

You must have Barret in your party whenever possible.

Also, you CANNOT buy ANY Chocobo Stables.

Fight the Lost Number Directly after meeting Sephiroth in the Shinra Mansion, when he gives you the Destruct Materia. DO NOT get Vincent afterward. Leave the door locked.

Right before you fight Hojo, put the Buster sword and the bronze bangle you saved from the beginning back on Cloud. Fight Hojo with these equipped, and then once you are on disk three, go to the Shinra Mansion (Cloud must still be wearing the bronze bangle and the Buster Sword) and open the coffin Vincent is found in. Instead of Vincent, the Butcher will pop out.

The Butcher hates Chocobos, and will chop them up whenever he sees them. Take him to the Chocobo farm, it's pretty funny!

-_-  *squint* Erm.... well, that's certainly a different one - have you actually done it? It seems a bit extreme - the game took 4 years to develop as it is. Do you really think they'd go to all the trouble of putting that in there aswell? Seems unlikely.

I've never tried any dumb tricks because i figured if they actually worked there would be news about them here and all over the net.. I say let other people waste their time.. I'll just chill and wait until something good comes of it.. if something ever does..

And why do you think I'm letting Nanaki waste her time on the stupid trick? The one I was annoyed about simply came by accident. I didn't mean to be level 99, but I'm glad I was. Sephiroth was sooooooooo easy. If it happened it happened, if it didn't it didn't, but I was gutted, cause my Dad managed it. Ah, typical good old, SSDD.

(For all you Stephen King readers, you'll know what that means.)
