I came up with these ideas on a short walk;

Automatic spinning and zooming on environments in game depending on character position.

Screen change effects.(eg.Quick Fade In/Out, Zoom, Dirge)

Menu and text/dialouge box skinning.

Think you could add these to the settings and/or In-game options menu?

Do a PrtScn while you are in the game, and paste it into paint, zoom in and tell me if it looks good.

I use a bunch of the files from ocxmusic.org, there are some beautiful remixes of FF7 on there.

Just do a google for MP3 Input Plugin. You should get Nullsofts in_mp3.dll, and you should be good to go.

didnt wanna make a new thread so ill post this here. i couldnt even get the .mp3's to load in the first place, even if i gave them the same names as their .minipsf counterparts, or even changed their extensions to .psf. nothing seems to work, its annoying me mightily D:

Do you have the correct input plugin? You need in_mp3.dll to be able to load MP3s in FF7Music. The output plugin out_wave.dll is fine for output.

Is your path in your profile pointing to where the MP3 files are?

The name of the mp3 must match exactly to the replacement music file name in FF7Music.

Do you have the Nvidia box checked in the configuration?

Do they movies play ok? or do you get a black screen with or without sound when you start the game?

Does it crash with no patches installed?

I do have one question for you ajrock2000, how did you get past that place without it freezing? This might help me in the future if I ever start a new game or whatever, but you don't have to tell me.

To tell you the truth I dont really know why.  :-?  It just doesnt crash for me. My settings are 1.02 patch with the Nvidia check box unchecked using D3D. Enjoy FF7, you will love it if this is your first time!

MoldySpore - Watching that intro with those graphics sends chills through my body.. LoL I think that's weird.. But it seriously does..

I would be hard pressed.. not buying a next gen system if they released a remake of FF7 with those graphics.. .. I mean.. wow.. I've seen it before and it still sense chills down my spine..

Watching that intro left me in complete awe just thinking of how sweet a remake of FF7 would be. *keeps fingers crossed*

As far as I know PSFs do loop, its just MP3s that don't.

21
Yup. I already have done this. :(

I was just seeing if anyone was harboring a secret or something.  :P

Japanese voices are always better than english anyways

Except children; thier voices are too high pitched.

Yeah, I agree with that one. Although I loved the voice of the Kadag henchman who looked like Zell from FF8 a little bit (cant remember his name =/ ).

I've done my share of searching on this forum to see if anyone had a solution, and apparently no one does. I was wondering if there is anything I can do to the MP3 file or whatever to make it repeat in game. I know FF7Music loop option doesn't work for mp3s, but I wanna know if there is ANY other solution! I dont care how much work it takes. Thanks!!

What kind of crash? Does it give you an error report of some sort?
