no i mean the part that would the material of the sword(like making the buster sword look like mettle instead of just white). like the tga files for kotor that you can open with paint.net.

the only thing i can think of to use as and example is the buster sword. the buster sword uses 2 files which i think is rtad and rtck. i know one of the files for ultima weapon is rtcz, i just dont know what the second one is..

i tried that one and it only replaced the model. so the texture on the blade looked all funny. i need the texture file.

i agree. i deffinately want it to stay the same game, just  new graphics would be nice. your idea for the world map sounds like a really good idea too :) just picture how crazy ruby weapon would look with new graphics XD

well i was thinking ps3/360/pc ....and i guess wii if they can pull it off. and they wont ruin the game if they leave they story alone and just work with new graphics and better cinematics. voices would be good too :) now for those who refuse to believe that they will do a remake, do some new research on it. they confirmed that they are finally considering it and the final fantasy 13 team is very down for doing it. now square enix and the team are trying to decide on if they do do it.. which platforms to put it on. the chances are starting to look better.

well for starters i would like to re-texture all the Weapon monster (especially ruby) to make them look a lot meaner in field and in battle, a re-texture or remodel of the highwind and submarine. I want to redo all the turks and make some more detailed chocobos. enemy texture/models (soldiers, monsters, etc). i would love to do some cloud models of my own one day as well as the rest of the team. make materia look more like the ones in advent children. just a whole world of thing i would like to do with this game. i could list more but it would take forever and as you can tell i'm not very good at really describing what I'm going for here lol.

ok so i installed saints hi-res and when i run it with the nvidia riva128 setting everything looks except the field. the screen looks kinda tiles with green lines in between. does anyone know how to fix this?
