At least you dont have to read Tyler..

OMG... the man could write a boring book.

I'm a Tylerist because i believe in the 'ancient civilization' but i cant read his books for more than an hour before i pass out.

The man could have made a fortune as an insomnia cure.

Btw, this isnt stargate stuff.

Its the belief that there was once an ancient civilisation or civilisations that exiosted during the ice age or pre ice age and had contact with each other.

I'm in General Science. This is what I have to have done by the 30th.

Read chapers 1, 8 and answer the questions on pages 1-15 on the study guide.

Read the paper on "the anotomy of the atom"

Write at least three paragraphs on a particular scientific principle of intrest.

Read "Deception Point" by Dan Brown (A Novel)

That's pretty much it.

*runs away screaming*

AHHHHH SCIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!

The only science i like involves a hammer and a chisel and very old rocks and maybe a shovel. Thats science.

Is the novel university work or a personal goal?

Social and contemporay Anthropology with Japanese contemporay language and society.

Its 12.5 hrs of lectures but loads of self study work.

Plus i'm doing a part time computer programming degree. Thats.. unkown hours...

If you say work was my study because my degree is practical not theory. Then maybe i do 30 hours a week on that on.

So 42.5 hours of study not incuding the self study..

Believe me its a lot of work on my plate.

Hello

Recently i had to reformat my PC, now that i reinstalled FFVII i have noticed that i have lost all ingame sound except for the background music. Is there anyway to fix this?

Here are my specs.

Windows XP
1GB DDRAM
64 bit XP3200 processor
9600XT graphics card
onboard sound.

Before i formatted everything ran fine but now i have no sound. Also the GeForce patch that allows for Software Rendering even when set correctly seems to leave green lines across the screen.

Does anyone know of a way to fix this?

That's true but just think... its a trillion times faster than making a half life map.

NWN requires determination but you get a good product.

As for the sceen shots they look good, i think you are on to a good idea but i am still not so sure. Hwo far are you thinking of taking this?

I have tried the eidos website for fixes.

I just think the snowboarding mini game has a common crash and if there is a solution.

I am running the game in quarter screen and with it set on the nvidia setting si can't remember them of the top of my my head but i think it is on TNT. But i know that it is the prescribed way of running FFVII with radeon cards.

It is definelty a crash, as i have heard people talking about it before on other sites. I am not sure if it is a sound problem or something but it is very annoying. The mini game just opens as a white screen and then freezes, the music is playing in the background as normal and it looks fine.

Then all of a sudden my mouse pointer appears and i have to press enter to close down the game as that wonderful 'A crash has occurred bla bla bla send or don't send message come up.'

Any help.

Someone please help!

I know the is a solution for this crash somewhere!

Please!  :weep:

The problem is that NWN is a limited engine. Maybe you could create Nibelhiem and Wutai but you are stuck with the prefab models unless you create your own custom structures and hak the aurora mod pack. Which limits you as you then need to create hundreds if not thousands of custom buildings and that is just way too time consuming.

Me and some friends tried this when NWN first came out. The BIg problem is Midgar, how can you make a modern city when you have only got 16th century european style buildings?

Maybe for the slums this could be possible we hit a dead end trying to make a mod for the game based on FFVII, and we are some of Finlands most dedicated NWN mod makers, we have made some grandious mods.

It's a great idea but the idea is limited by the constaints of the aurora engine.

But hey, if you can figure out a way to do it i'm in!

Bthe way here is my spec once again with a few improvements

Amd 64 bit processor. XP3200
1GB Gile DDRam
Rad 9600XT (I wanted a 9800xt but it was too expensive)
Soltek 64 motherboard
80GB ICE western dig
Windows XP Pro

I have installed the chocobo patch, the upside down movie patch and the 1.02 upgrade patch... is there anything else?

Hello.

I have for the past week been trawling through site after sight looking for a way to fix a bug that occurs at the snowboarding game in the icicle village.

I have the chocobo patch and a few other patches as were previously reccommended to me but nothing seems to have worked.

Does anyone have any advice they can offer?

And to make matters worse i have contracted a rather bad throat infection and FFVII is my favourite game so make a sick guy happy will you?  :weep:

Pretty pretty please with sugar, cherries and a big blob of whipped cream?  :)

Serial Ata! i always get confused. My PC is a test bed, as you can see from the Specs its made to be powerful but once i get that 9800xt and a decent working version of win xp 64 it will fly! :)

But think, how many people use it? Its a test programme really. And wasn't thought of in 1998.

Anyway i digress.

Any idea why my friend gets his version to run fine? His specs are identical to mine except he's a 32 bit processor and a 98xt. Yet he seems to have a speed cap on his.

That chocobo patch, will it only fix the choocbo races? Or is there anything else i may need. I've seen the other patches available but i don't want to fill my pc with patches.

You'll have to wait a couple of days, this isn't my Pc i'm typing on now.

I didn't know about that XP patch thing, looks like my friends will have to be informed. But i'll nab that chocobo patch.

Do you think Serial Ati maybe to blame? As i know it is experimental.

I find that i can play the game but then i must save to watch an FMV as if there are 2 FMVS like that of Cosmo Canyon then it will crash.  found on the railway line that thegame would run fine the first time i fell, but if i fell a second time it would crash.

Hi

Right, here are the specs for my PC

Amd 64 bit processor. XP3200
1GB Corsair DDRam
Rad 9600 (I wanted a 9800xt but it was too expensive)
Sound blaster Audigy 2.5

My games crashes as Cosmo Canyon when you go into the observatory and Tifa says 'Look a shooting star' then the game crashes. I have the XP patch but it doesn't fix this bug. But i have had other problems, on the railway bridge when the track collapses and you can jump, if i fell the game crashed as well.

My friend who has a similar system but he has a 32bit processor  and a 9800xt doesn't have this problem, also i am running serial ati so is this a factor? And i also notice he can play his bike game at regular speed which is really weird.

Oh and by the way, you should see how fast MY bike game is, it is finished in 5 seconds!  :)

And also my movies play upright but when i play them through media player i see them upside down, i know there is a patch but will this help with my problems showing the FMV in Cosmo canyon?

Any help would be appreciated.
