General Discussion / Advent Pieces Bonus DVD - FF VII FMVs redone ?

I've got Advent Pieces. Basically, it has a video feature on it that has parts of some of the FFVII cutscenes in DVD quality. I don't think it's that they were redone, it's just that they were compressed for the PS release, and the DVD has less compressed versions of them.
EDIT:
Advent Pieces includes a special edition of FFVII International. The only difference is the disk art. I doubt anyone has ever tried to play them to see if there was a difference due to their Limited Edition nature.

I'm just wondering if anyone knows of a way to do two things...
1. Make the dialog boxes and text COMPLETELY transparent (so they're basically not there anymore).
2. Remove the number that shows when you hit someone in battle.
Any help would be really appreciated. I'm attempting to make a FFVII gameplay movie with voice acting and everything (it'll be distributed for free if I finish it), since just text boxes would be pretty lame...

Saint, I'd just like to thank you for this awesome mod. I finally reinstalled FFVII and tried it out and can at last get FSAA and AF without the crazy boxy effect. Yum.

I've just got one question that seems to be implyed, but never specifically stated... Does this patch allow you to use FSAA and such without causing the gridlines with a Radeon card?

I accidentely erased my precious save game earlier today, much to my dismay...
And as the title says, does anyone have a save game of FFVIII right after Lunar Base, such as within the Ragnarok clearing it or shortly after?
If so, please let me know, because I would REALLY appreciate anyone that could give me help with this...
