Dissidia II

Dissidia 2 was confirmed by Nomura,so we'll have more characters,more stories,more weapons,more etc.xD
However,he didn't said that the characters from the previous one will return  (damn I want Cloud and Gabranth so Badly)
Speaking of Cloud,he's a jerk in the game and the movie,I hate Nomura for change his personality from badass-good guy to a really sad guy :/ however they fixed that at the end of the movie,and yet again in Dirge Of Cerberus....HOWEVER in Dissidia he's once again the ''Soldier'' he used to be (in the very beggining of the game) + the Sad guy...I didn't like this one bit...anyways let's go to the topic

Genesis and Angeal don't make appearances in FF7 and have nothing to do with its plot, and Zack only makes a few appearances in flashbacks and has no direct link with most of the main characters. To me at least, FFVII and CC are very separate when it comes to storyline.

I don't think that many characters is necessary. Dissidia had a fair amount of content with only 1 good and 1 bad character from each game. If there were 3 good guys, 3 bad guys and 13 final fantasy games to make characters for, there would be 78 characters. If they all had a level, the game would be way too long. Even if they didn't each have a level to themselves, that many important characters is still a lot.

I agree, 1 hero and 1 villain is enough for each game. Although the cool characters should be the one that we will get. Example is ff8 characters where Squall is the hero and ultimecia is the villain. Don't know for other people but I was kinda expecting Seifer to be the villain.

Cool characters... probably more like the relevant characters. Maybe the cool relevant characters then!

Yeah it would have been neat to see Seifer as the villain, but the way they did it was "main character" and "final boss". Aside from Kuja... but srs lulz at the thought of having Necron as the FF9 villain! And I haven't played ff4 'till the end but I believe Zero-Mouse or something was *the* final boss. (Kuja and Golby were pretty close to being labeled final boss though).

Seifer was never really a villain. A bully true and he was slightly brainwashed by ultramecia while she was in Edea's body.
