Well I myself is practicing blender since its free. And there's a free tutorial aroung here at qhimm. I think it was Timu Sumisu who made the tutorial. Anyways Good Luck. :)

i tried again and actually am almost done, im done one of the legs, but i have one issue, the foot messes up badly when doing walk and run animations

I know what your problem is. In the picture after you have resized it which is close to what you need it to be resized just save it in a folder in the desktop named aaaa.hrc. Then close kimera. Open Kimera again then Open model then choose the folder I've told you to do and open it. When you open it you will have it as 100 again but in the same size as you saved it before.

There's a much quicker way to do that, just double click on it after you resized it and hit apply, it resets all the values to the 100 default without needing to reopen it.

I don't get why you guys have so much trouble with converting battle to field with kimera, i found it pretty easy  :-D

What version of kimera do you use bloodshot?? When I first tried to use kimera my version was 0.91 and that's why I needed to close kimera then load it again. You're using the latest right??

once i finish fixing animations, i see one more problem

to make it look right in my eyes, i hat to make him a bit taller than the normal field cloud, so right now if i check floor, he's knee deep, once i fix this, i can see this being a huge issue with him being much taller than everyone else.

Don't mess with the compute ground height man. Cloud may look right if he's feet is above ground but all the other models who use the standing animation the same as cloud they will also go up so that means Cloud's feet is on the ground and the other NPC's who uses aafe.a will float.

I think you could edit some things in the flevel.lgp to make all the models to stand right but that's going to take long since you're going to edit "every" model so if you don't have a backup with you're apz cloud in field I can't offer you any advices but to edit the backup with no touch by the compute ground height button. That's why I don't use the latest too I advice you to use 0.93. I don't have any problems with it.

O.o my problem was just that when it ried to size it the same as the NRP RP he didn't look right, so i made him a little taller.

i wish the game would automatically resize the blasted thing when i try to use the model, it would save me alot of work.

while im at it, im getting hella-trouble from trying to put the bustersword on his back, every time i try to apply the texture... well.... lets just say swords ain't supposed to look like that.

What is the name of the texture file you use with the sword?? The default is rtad right?? Try changing it with name like buster.tex and apply that texture to the sword to see if its right. And if you make him taller make sure he does not go too much because the bones are made for the chibi version and that's the problem with high rez field models. You can't make them much taller because when you do their animation will look like sh*t.

You have his foot connected to the wrong bone most likely.
Borde has mentioned a way to give each character their own animations.  Meaning, it is possible to give Cloud his own individual animations and "compute ground height" won't mess up other models.    I haven't looked into it though.

Its possible to do that?? Then that means we can rename and make a new animation like cloud.a?? Wow!! Where did Borde mention that?? I'd like to take a look at it. :)

I honestly don't know where, I've looked for it but no luck. 

Maybe it's in the flevel?   All you would theoretically have to do is tell the game to load animation "stand.a" for Cloud instead of his current stand animation.   And of course you would have to create a "stand.a" and put it in char.lgp

I haven't really looked into the files though.  And we should probably quit cluttering APZ' thread like this

I think you should make a new thread about this or post in the kimera thread so that we'll not steal Apz thread. Just keep messing with it and you'll get it. My first time I also had the problem about Apz Cloud shoes since its two different parts but you'll get it. :)

did you LOOK for this issue? its a common one, you need Ficedula.dll, which does NOT always come with programs like LGPTools. and is your avatar to large.

This should be in the Tech related thread. Just unpack the files to any folder and there should be two dll files that comes with lgptools. Put it there too so that lgptools will work.
Note:Aali made a new lgp.exe and unlgp.exe thats much easier to use with .bat files. And for your avatar, try sizing it down to 100x100. That's the size of my avatar and it is in .gif extension.

I'll post this in the Technical Support area, then. I'm also currently searching "ficedula.dll" in the forums. If one of you have the "ficedula.dll" file, can you just send it to me and tell me where you had it?
