Buster Sword
« on: 2010-06-09 09:59:13 »
Well, I have a question, can I have the all the swords with the same aspect as the Buster Sword?

For example, I have equiped Hardedge and when I am in a fight, it has the same aspect as the Buster Sword. Is it possible? How can I do that?

Thanks!  ;)

The buster sword is rtck so make copies of it then rename the copies of rtck to the other swords like rtcz is the ultimate weapon. Delete the original rtcz then rename a copy of rtck to rtcz. That way it will have the same look as the buster sword and will not affect the stats and will be the same as the original strength of the ultimate weapon.

The hard way to do it is replace the models like nikfrozty suggested. The easy way to do it is edit your KERNEL.BIN with WallMarket. Change which ever of Cloud's Weapons you want to look like the Buster Sword. Set their "Model ID"s to 00.

I've downloaded the WallMarket Kernel.Bin v1.40 and when I'm going to run the program it says: The program cannot be started. What do i have to do? :S

Don't know if you'd still like to try the things I suggested but if you still do here are the swords names.
rtcl-rtcz. Basically just change the last letter from letter l to z. All the swords are from rtcl to rtcz. rtck is also a sword but it is the buster sword so no need renaming. :)

For WallMarket, you need the .NET runtimes and the VB Powerpacks. There are links to them in the topic about WallMarket and my blog (in my profile).

Ok. However, I've already solved my problem, I did what nikfrozty said and I get it working.

Good then. However if you want to do it in the future again with other weapons I'd rather stick with using Wallmarket as NFITC1 suggested. I tried his steps and its much easier and faster to use his method. :)
