Really kind of variable. What I found was that the exams I thought would go swimmingly were complete disasters, whereas the ones I thought would go badly didn't cause any problems at all. I'm on something of a high, however, since I felt that the last one went well. I managed to write nearly 5,000 words in three and a half hours, and that's somewhat unusual for a person whose strength lies and brevity and getting to the point without waffling (maybe that was my tutors' tactful way of saying that my essays were too short
).
