I hated that movie! What did it even have to do with final fantasy?

The same as every numbered Final Fantasy had to do with previous games in the series.

But seriously, the focus on Gaia was VERY FF. If the animation hadn't been reeky and stilted, I'd have loved it; I liked the characters, story, and voice acting.

Gaia Theory, end of a world, stupid military leader, cool armor. It's only thing was it was a good push in the CG direction. And I liked the ending song. But story and all that...meh*shrug*

I was disappointed cause it could have been somewhat great if it was a game. If it was made a game I'm sure I'd prefer to play it more than ff8 or 9 and 12.

I liked it.  I'll agree the animation could be a little rough some times, but as far as everything else goes, I thought it was a good movie.

I'm like 50/50 on that film, i liked it and hated it.
 I watched as a squaresoft (what ever they were at that time) film and not a Final Fantasy game film

I've been trying to find an HD version of this trailer (which I find more engaging than the movie itself), but without success.
