Another Lame Music Thread.... ^.^

I have always been a huge fan of classical music and string instruments as a whole. My favorite instrument being the cello (the violin following closely after.) . It has a sense of longing that most instruments cannot capture. I have even heard it creates a sound that is the closest to a human voice, among all of its other instrumental brethren.

Recently I discovered that Linkin Park did some remakes of their own music, in the form of a string quartet. Beautiful stuff. In my opinion it far surpasses the originals in every way. XD. Though I do like some of the originals as well....

Now, I am going to ask you folks this, to start a discussion. What are some of your favorite instruments, and what kinds of music do you enjoy?

For me I like the Cello, Violin, and piano. However I do like good old fashioned rock and roll as well.

I came to this thread excited because the very word music always arouses me sexually, although after seeing "Linkin Park" and then, for some reason, bothering to check out those links, I coughed up a ball of spite. 

That sounds more negative than I intended, or I guess more sincere. Less hyperbolic?
