Cant Select Dragon To Kill

Hello when i get to kalm for the first time to have the flashback with sepiroth fighting the dragon sepiroth can not attack the dragon with the attack command can anyone help sorry if not explain correctly and if not in right palce thank you for replys

Are you using a "control Sephiroth" mod? You're not normally supposed to be able to use him.

Have you changed Sephiroth's weapon using Jenova, by any chance?

Because doing that can cause problems...

hey thanks for replys what happen was i played up until that point and it didnt work but then i looked in a diffrent save file an yh his weapon wasnt equiped so then i jus equiped them and it worked and yh i was using hard mode mod and also taking that off now but yh it does work ^^ thanks for replys and its sorted now lol

I must admit I am a bit confused as well.

This is a known bug with Jenova editor.  Once you have used Jenova to edit your game save, Sephiroth's weapon becomes broken.  It has been a while since I had this issue and I cannot remember the proper work around in detail but it revolved around giving Sephiroth a new weapon with Jenova editor.  I think one of Vincents weapons works.

The only draw back is the animation and sound will be vincents but it should get you passed this dragon.

edit:  Didnt bother reading ALL replies and I should have   But anyway for future reference yeah, it is a Jenova problem.

you can just use my save editor Black Chocobo it is at this point much more advanced then jenova

I've used Jenova before and never had that problem. How odd.

Must be some certain condition then....I did do a lot of messing around with it at 1 point and I had this issue.  If anyone ever figures out the exact condition let me know.

thank you for all your replys i think what happen is yh usig jenova to edit charecters there is a bug with septhiroth because it does not have his weapon in the drop down menu bit thats why it happen i fixed it with a diffrent editor
