Loveless text Issue

For some reason this text became

“But citizens of Midgar‚

I have made a few global edits using search and replace but nothing that should have caused this.   The

“But citizens of Midgar‚ actually shows up in game as “But citizens of Midgar‚there is no
   need to fear.” but the rest is cut off.

I hope this isn't a recurring problem....

Even when I correct the issue in loveless it gives me:

As you can see, the next line by Marin (Marlene) has now fused onto the last message by the news, even though flevel.lgp is fine when I open in loveless.

It seems that even when I edit this text in loveless it isn't saving it properly....  something is wrong here.\

mod edit:  See how removing the cursing still keeps the idea of the statement?  We have wordfilters for a reason.

Is that ok?  I never meant to bypass your filter, I used a contraction and it didn't pick up the offending word.  You need to make it so that truck and truckin' are both set to remove truck if you see what I mean?

I solved the issue by reconstructing the very last entry in the file...it was messed up completely with gibberish (The last entry isn't used, it is just unused save point text).

After I sorted that out the rest saved properly but the fact it became corrupted leads to me believe some kind of issue with Loveless exists...  my guess is the Search and replace function again which is buggy.

Come on now, seifer.   A problem with a program in Game Tweaking and double posting?  Tsk tsk

I have to be honest...I have never understood why it is still considered double posting when the 2 posts are separated by a large time..  I think tons of edits look far worse.  It isn't as if this is anyone else's thread either or cluttered.  I will make sure to place things in the correct place in future.

As of now double posting is only allowed in threads in which you are the author of that program or mod or Completely Unrelated.   

Enforcing the rules isn't a perfect science.   Sometimes we're more lenient.  Sometimes we miss things.
