How has Final Fantasy infected your cellphone?
« on: 2010-07-28 16:52:59 »
Ok. I bet some people on the board have done it. Put final fantasy music, backgrounds, sounds, etc. on their cellphones. Mines got a shinra themed wallpaper and uses the shinra theme (starting at a loud portion) as the main ringer. What reminded me to do this was when I was at the midnight thing for starcraft monday, a girl would have a chocobo wark sound for her txt msgs. Oh and I bet people have the Victory ringtone like in Advent Children :P

So, how has Final Fantasy infected your cellphone?

Well it hasn't. But thanks to this I'm going to have to be a slave to trends... Up until now my text sound has been the "!" from MGS... but a Chocobo wark... that sounds awesome :P

Victory can't beat my Super Mario Brothers ringtone atm though  ;)

Edit: Just set the Wark, found out I can set a seperate tone for Text, media, voicemail, and calender alerts. Woo, more room for the FF invasion ^.^

lol I like the "!" from MGS too! I can't stand the victory ringtone much and I think anyone that does it is slightly unoriginal. I mean, at least mine has the whole shinra thing going for it. Even my best friends ringtone (different ring when I get a call from him) is of the rufus parade.

I had the victory fanfare as text alert. I just worried that anyone hearing anything else would think I was a cheesy J-pop fan, rather than a cheesy JRPG fan.

Kefka Laugh as ringtone. The Materia sound as a text notification.

After the movie came out I put the fanfare as my ringtone. Yeah, yeah. I know.

I have Verizon, and for a while the snowboard minigame was available for download onto your cellphone. Only my phone wasn't compatible with it at the time. And by the time I got a new phone the game was no longer available. Not like I really needed to pay for a game I can get at the Gold Saucer anyways...

In the old days there was nothing better for me than a FFVI or FFX(To Zanarkand<3) music ringtone. Now my cellphone loves Avatar the movie/the game stuff and deletes any FF stuff I put inside when I don't watch:C. Through I like Avatar too so don't really care:P.

I have Final Fantasy II on my iPhone. The game's not great, but it's a helluva lot better than the first.
