I loved /r9k/ and /new/ was always lulzy. True, /r9k/ had gone stale since the golden age of tripfags (oh, to see ad majorem arguing with athens and investment banker again!), but I still feel sad to see the loss of the place where I spent most of 2009.

It seems that /int/ has some incredibly sensitive word-filter; an anon here got banned for saying that his mother was Jewish. I wouldn't mind, but I wasn't even being racist.

If the intent was to clean up /int/, it's a mystery why the auto-ban is for all boards.

The message they're sending is that word-filter based bans are teh stupid and unable to replace human mods.

Someone from an East Asian country (he didn't say which) asked why Europeans make such a big deal about Muslims in their countries compared to Americans, Canadians and Australians. In addition to pointing out to him that immigrant nations will inevitably have a different reaction to outsiders than Old World countries, I told him that Muslims/Arabs/South Asians tended to be the largest and most prominent/vocal minority groups in a lot of European countries, whereas in places like the US they have been overshadowed by other minority groups such as black people, Hispanics and Jews. Having read that thread on plus4chan, I assume that I was auto-banned for saying "Jew". The board software no doubt thinks that any post with the word "Jew" in it must be "Herpa derpa Zionist conspiracy Israeli apartheid state Holohoax with j00s you lose Sieg heil, Sieg heil, Sieg heil".

A man who gets visibly excited to talk about a 'new revolution' sweeping across Europe, a grassroots rejection of multiculturalism and revival of hardline migration policy (bizarre, considering he's an unemployed migrant himself). A man totally oblivious to everyone's visible horror at his violent, naked anti-semitism.

Anyway, it turns out he's been denied leave to remain in the UK!

Confusingly, though, he isn't very pleased. I think the irony is lost on him...

Polish Nazi, eh? It's rather strange that a Pole would adopt a philosophy that sees him as racially inferior and that sees his beloved country as nothing more than Lebensraum for Germans, but I suppose that there's no accounting for stupidity. After all, there are even Israeli Nazis.

I was also surprised to hear that everyone was disgusted by his antisemitism; I thought you lefties loved that kind of thing? Most studenty types believe Ariel Sharon wakes up from his coma every night and eats Palestinian babies, right?
