So, I whipped these up, each one took under 20 mins.

I made a Female Soldier for each class, but before I show you it, I'll show what the original was.

and when I was especially bored, I did a 5 minute edit to Rufus to make him look like he's from Final Fantasy Type-0.

It could have had a release if someone wanted it to be one, and I hardly qualify this as a 'project' since it will just be quick mods I do when I'm bored, or requests I take.

I would qualify a project as a larger scale mod with a precise purpose in mind; such as fully replacing the playable characters with fully textured models, not a random assortment of mini mods.

Besides, it wouldn't even take 2 minutes to actually upload the files and link to them, which I could do if someone wanted, but if nobody desires them, then I won't.

They look good, but i guess the only one usable is the 2nd class male soldier (when talking about keeping the original content ingame) although the pants should be red and the sword round.

@Nightmarish, its supposed to be different, I never said I was trying to simply update the model, I was making a REVISED model.

if I was keeping the sword round and the pants red, then what the devil was the point of even doing the mod in the first place?

and the female soldiers can be used, I have 2 versions of the files where they replace the original soldiers, and a set where they are entirely new battle models.

I suppose you also think that I should have made Rufus' suit white instead of recolouring it?

Besides, not once did I mention that I sooooo dearly wished for it to be used for an 'original content' mod, such as the precious TA one, which just looks like a joke with all of the conflicting styles and the 'purely graphically updated' content that's 'the same' as what the game originally had.

All this was, and is, is a mod I did when I was bored to redesign the soldier design to look (in my opinion) better than what it was originally, in terms of model quality, AND the model design.

I was referring to the original poster bashing TA because they do not like the style. You were just providing constructive critism.

@sl1982, nothing about what nightmarish said was constructive, he stated that for a completely different context, only one was even remotely usable, but for it to be usable, he stated that 2 things had to be changed, and might I add, He completely missed several points as well for it to be an original content mod?

he said only the sword and trouser colours were off; however, the model has chest plate armour; however, the original model only has a metal strip, the model has on gloves instead of armlets, and the model ALSO has sleeves, which I fail to see on the original model.

As for me 'bashing' TA, I didn't bash it, individually each area can look good, but put together, its eye rape from the sheer differences in style for each area.

As for me, I don't want my eyes to be raped, so I'll avert them from any of your precious mod's 'progress'.

And since it seems clear enough that nobody desires these or have any requests, I won't give any links or participate further in this thread.

Team Avalanche is a work in progress and like all WIP they are not perfect. I don't see who you plan to insult by pointing out the obvious fact that, in its current state, it is unfinished and unpolished. Of course the authors already are aware of this, and if you don't like it that way I am sure they take no offense at the fact of you not using it. For example, you could tell me my Project Blackfan looks horrible as it is right now because some of the backgrounds are pixelated and some aren't, as well as the fact that some of layers blend horribly. However these are things I am already aware of and plan to fix so of course I don't really care what you think about something like that until its finished. There is a difference between constructive (unknown to the author and potentially leading to a better result) and destructive (blatant disregard for the effort put into the work and tends to be nothing more than childish and useless) criticism and I think this thread now shows as a good example of that. Its too bad, you did an okay job.
