hi there, i'm new here...and actually to this whole "forum-universe", so i try to do my
best not to screw up my rights being here...
well, i've a very urgent problem with my final fantasy 7 pc game:
right now, i can't access the submenus "items" and "limits" in my field and world
map menu anymore. they appear grey like p.h.s. does when you're in a town and
not on a save point. furthermore, in the "materia" menu i can't change the materia
anymore, nor can i even change equipment. all i get is this not-working-sound (like
the one when you try to change a party member who has to stay in the group for
the story). but: in battle, i can choose and use items, well the battle items, that is.
some game info:
i play the u.s., original pc version, with the mods that are all recommended here.
i also frequently use j-e-n-o-v-a (and some times black chocobo) editor, to make
my life easier, cheating whatever idontcare...and i never had any problems
(only exception: black chocobo deleted all my limits ones, but that wasnt an
unsolvable issue). but this one's now a tough nut!
currently, i'm after the mideel incident, wandering to the next chapter (junon
underwater), and made a stop at raising chocobos for a golden bird. somewhere
around the feeding and the first training races at golden saucer, the problem began
to exist. yes i used j-e-n-o-v-a to stuff my chocos with those sylk-greens....maybe
that was the point?
so i'm really desperate, i always look for myself before i write somewhere but now,
here i am...help, please.
