Missing Save file

So I just recently downloaded FFVII, I have the game the CD's were just horrible scratched from years of wear and tear. I installed and began the process of modding it (I've done this before so I already had preknowledge of everything) I got to the first save point to begin adding all the mods however when I went to my File directory for some odd reason the save file is not there. I tried uninstalling it however for some reason it still loads the save files that were previously on it. I was wondering if there are any different locations to where these save files might be or if there is anyway I might find them. I did try Windows search multiple times and it doesn't show any save files for FFVII.

Sorry, I've had the game for a long time. It's just hard to find a published copy to replace it.

BTW this did work however for some reason my computer had the appdata folder hidden. I had seen this solution earlier however couldn't find it. After you had suggested it I poked around my computer and made it show hidden files and thankfully it was there! Thank you very much for the help!

Wow, two rules broken (one of them broken TWICE) in only two days... It's almost as if you didn't even read the rules at all!
