Hey guys I need some help with my FFVIII. First of sorry if this is in the wrong place, I will move it if needed. Ok so I bought FFVIII off ebay a few days ago and it finally arrived. Installed and plays fine, now the reason I bought it on PC was because of modding or enhancing. I wanted to rip out the backgrounds and stuff from the game and go over them to make them look new and fresh, problem is half of the formats used I've never even heard of so I went over the software provided by other posters and while it does give me access to the files I can not edit them (This is mainly my lack of knowledge, I will remedy that). So I was wondering is there any way at all to install FFVIII in such a way that all the files were on the HDD? Do NOT get me wrong i'm not asking for a way to cut out the need for the discs. Just I figured this would be easier to edit and test if everything loaded from the harddrive. Also is there any way at all of making the game recognise different formats? This includes but is not limited too .jpeg .bmp etc etc. Sorry if this question is worded wrong as the question seemed easier to understand in my head lol.
