Well, I am really not sure, but I think there's a small chance it's related to the condor.lgp file. Not sure, though.

Joking aside, that's odd. I've never seen it happen before, and I'm positive that Bootleg does not touch all these files. It may alter a few, I'm not sure, but certainly not that many. Is there even a "condor.lgp" file in your data\minigame folder? Maybe it was mistakenly renamed. Did you install any mod after Bootleg? Did you install Bootleg twice? What version of the game do you have?

Well, the condor.lpg is in the minigame folder.

I installed bootleg only once but i was missing "yarLson Field Upscale" now im downloading it, i got the old PC version 1993? And the only thing i changed are battle and char.lpg.

Maybe something went wrong somewhere. Is your game installed in the Program Files, My Documents or the Desktop? If not where is it?

You can try different options in the ff7_opengl.cfg to switch on or off.
One possibility would be for example to switch the shaders off

use_shaders = off

Open the cfg file with notepad, search the appropriate option and change the switch behind it.

I got a new laptop and am attempting to get bootleg again. When I press play in bootloader, a black command box appears and then disappears right away. I already checked several times that FF7Config had everything selected and in order as suggested by the FAQ. Something I noticed is that when I press 'Write CFG' in bootloader, it doesn't save any settings and when I go back in everything is blank.

I would post my APP.LOG, but I'm struggling to find it. The last time I downloaded bootleg on Windows 7 I had no problem finding it, but now on Windows 8 I can't find it or anything about it anywhere.

I can't say for sure for others but I had this exact issue yesterday after not loading the program for awhile. The boot-loader would load and then the black box shows and poof gone. Try to uninstall the game and then re-install as this fixed the issue for me. Nothing else I can provide but that. By all means though if someone knows what causes this I'd love to know for future reference and a easier fix.

That's an issue resulting from "Grimmy's Upscaled Magic Textures" pack.

Just a heads up EQ2Alyza, the torrent link in the OP (to all compatible mods) isn't working (although it's possible this is just for me). I have since managed to find your updated torrent on Kickass.to, which I had to access via proxy since I'm from the UK and my ISP doesn't allow the site *shakes fist*

Just wanted to let you know/ see if anyone else was having problems with the link. Also, your previous torrent seems to have more seeders than the more recent version of the collection, so maybe a heads up to those of you here who are seeding to stop and switch to the newer one, if that's the case.

The torrent link is good on my end. It should download a .torrent file which you then open with your torrent program. I use uTorrent. If you have problems getting seeds from it, let me know, and I'll seed it for a bit. It should be hooked up to a seedbox and always have a seed.

I can seed too if need be. I have crappy Internet so I shutdown µTorrent, but I can launch it for a couple hours overnight.

Thanks, that's nice of you both. It's running at about 4.3MB/s down in uTorrent so I shouldn't have too many problems getting it all downloaded. I'll make sure to seed it for a long time too.

I can't get the OP link to work, but it's more than likely something to do with using the chrome adblock with the adfly link. No worries

Running the latest version of bootleg, the Grimmy model of Yuffie still holds up the game when I fight her in the forest near Fort Condor. I know I need to change the model, but is there a way to do that without having to run bootleg all over again? I'm not very excited about starting the game over at this point.

There is a way, but you need to know your way around the command line and LGPs. If you don't feel too comfortable, you can copy your saves off the save folder in another place, uninstall the game, run Bootleg fresh and copy back your saves once it's done.

You can't uninstall MO when it's done through Bootleg. That process is embedded into the Bootleg install. Plus, installing other mods over top of Bootleg is generally a no-no because if Bootleg modified an lgp for a specific mod, and then you run an installer that overwrites the same files within the lgp, the mod installed by Bootleg will not function correctly anymore.

Menu Overhaul might be okay since it uses toughscript to edit the lgp code, rather than directly overwriting with already modified lgps, but if the mod has a coding problem that toughscript identifies, it won't proceed.

We can't really provide anymore support beyond that if you decide to run installers after Bootleg. There is just too much alteration in your data files at that point to pinpoint where the problem lies.

There is one more spell which I didn't bother to find yet... The Emerald Weapon casts it and it's impact causes splinters to fly through the air, uhm..., water.

Thanks for the file names. I've already edit and fixed them for the next release. If you want them before then, I can give them to install manually. I don't have the time right now to sort through and find the last texture for Emerald Weapon. If you, or anyone else, can find this for me, that'll be a big help. I'll edit it right away and add it to the rest of the fixes.

Hi all,

New user here and all. First of all, thanks for this amazing mod work!

Now, I installed everything and checked that it worked in game. But what if I want to add let's say a new mod, or change a character model? I also noticed I'm missing MO.exe (it's in red) but apparently the game started well without it.

My question is, do I need to run the whole lengthy "Run Bootleg" process, each time I change something or is it another quicker way?
