Hi guys,

I have the German Version of FF7,i configure the Game with all Bootleg Mods.

My Problem is the Dialogs(Story is in German),but the Game menu,battletext etc is in English.

Is it possible that the game menu,battle comments etc also in German?

if search but found only a FF8 translation mod+ Tuturial:(

The tool used to extract the game text does not recognize the non US version of ff7.exe.
Someone would need to manually translate the text from the English ff7.exe in order to have the menu and battle text in another language.

I just checked and it appears the German ff7.exe text is already available.
When you run Bootleg, on the GAME tab select GERMAN for the TRANSLATION.
This will install the German text for nearly the entire game.

First of all,Big THX what u do!!!
FF7 is amazing,and whatt u guys do sooooo long after Game release (1997) and support the Game is hard to put into words and Bootleg is Great Tool.

But i think ,we do not really understand ;)

at this point sry for my bad english My question was meant to express It is possible that the battle system is also in German and especially the game menu and the items stuff selectable?


because what I do not understand is that the Game is original in German,befor i install all  of the great mods with Bootleg,after then,only the game text (the Story) is then in german.

i wish Bootleg 039 came out  :)and has a option like Game>Translate Text(German,Spanisch,Italian,French) also for the Battlesystem,menu etc.

Yes, Bootleg 0039 has a more complete translation including the menu and battle system for German and Spanish.
I'm seeking help for translating to French and Italian.

Other than the English text, does Bootleg work on your German version of FF7?
I have no way of testing Bootleg on international versions of the game so I rely on your feedback.

All works fine on my German Version of ff7 without Bootleg all things like Game menu/text/battle text/ingame menu is then in English.when i install Bootleg and configure the tab Game>Translation Text and choose German is also fine,but not all includes only the Game Text:) I have but much Bugs whitout "Rufus fights" aka Kernel.Bin like:

OK so what happened was i was in the shinra building. And then i got to the part where red breaks out and then you fight that monster boss after. I thought it was strange at first because the boss was a demonic dog looking monster and i didn't remember the monster looking like it did. It was relatively easy to kill too. Its everytime actually when i enter a fight against the giant serpent, i end up fighting rufus on the balcony. ????? does anyone know what the deal is and how to fix it?

I fix this with help of the user "DLBP" and run touphscript! i dont know how interaction  becouse that is why i have a German game Version.

Now i can fight against  the Big Snake nere the chocobo Farm:)

That is normal it either means you used ts before.. or else not using clean flevel.
