Here's some background information for all of you to get started.
The reason I only covered GC was because we are after all choosing a GC Mod.
Remember, the number of posts or threads started are not important.
It's the amount of meaningful posts or threads started.

Ok, here are the rules for voting.
1. Each person shall be allowed 2 votes.
2. You may vote for any of the nominees above.
3. Yes, you may vote for yourself.
4. To vote, DO NOT post here!
5. E-mail me at [email protected] with your vote(s).
6. This is to protect any nominees from getting upset for getting only 1 vote or anything similar.
7. If you decide to only vote for one nominee, it doesn't mean that nominee gets 2 of your votes.
8. This thread may be used for campaigning if you guys want to. Do not open any other threads concerning this topic. Anyone who opens another topic about this will have his / her votes disqualified.
9. Direct any questions to this thread, ok?
10. Sending me money will not effect the results, though I don't mind the money
11. I will be going over the votes with Qhimm and maybe the rest of the mods?
12. Votes made cannot be changed. So think before you send me your vote.
13. The voting session shall be closed on Friday so you have plenty of time
14. Remember to mail me your username on the boards and most importantly tell me who you're voting for.
15. Also remember to include your e-mail address so I can reply to you to confirm your vote. This is so that no one misuses your username for voting.
16. Lastly, everyone is qualified for this voting session including all mods (that means me too!) and Qhimm.

Hey, thanks for everyone who nominated me. I don't post much in General but I usually read all the posts. Oh, I'd usually have plenty of time to mod the forum, now (exams) is a once-a-year event, one of the few times when I post less then usual

So, in the words of my Computing Student representative - "Vote for me! I'll do everything the others would, plus I'll campaign for free chocolate!".

im VERY PC hardware profficent (thats hardware NOT software).
i LIKE to help and answer questions (damn thats how i registerd, my 1st ever post was about converting psx midi to PC midi).

im always reading the general chat forum but theres usually little need for me to voice an opinion, unless someone has a question or id like to share news (like bleemcast, epsxe news etc).

i used to post often in the tech and game tweaking but the new events are 3d geometrey based and im a sucker for that stuff

I think MMiller8 made a mistake when he first came here becuase he didnt know the rules. Maybe he was used to a busy board where you had to post a lot to get people's attention on a topic. I think Joey acts pretty normal like us, but if we see a mistake in something he does a lot of us make fun of him for it. But I don't think they're trolls, otherwise they wouldn't post replies about actual topics and stuff.

Well, I hate to be a spoiler but...
I do have to say that it's very nice to be nominated. I'm flattered, to tell the truth. I have no idea how it happened, but thanks to whomever nominated me.
However, I don't think I'm the best choice for modding General Chat; my haunts are more the Tech-Related and FF7 Remake forums.
I do come here now and then, but I usually don't have as much to say.
Still, let me offer a suggestion about this. Can't we just expand the domain of one (or all) of the 3 "newest" moderators (Jari Huttunen, dagsverre, and The SaiNt) to include the General Discussion as well? They've already proven themselves, and all know what's ok and what's not. That just makes a bit more sense to me. Although, I'm not sure if any of them *want* to be...
Anyway, I'm not trying to shirk duty (I *am* a mod at several other forums I go to), and if by some miracle I get elected, I'll do my best to responsibly carry out my job. But again, why me? IMHO, the other candidates are much better suited for the position, and I encourage people to consider very carefully if, for some strange reason, you're actually planning on voting for me.

Ok, I guess i'll vote now. I would've sooner, but it is hard to see with the lights out. I turn out the lights, then I call out the names of the nominees. Whichever I raise my hand for, I vote for*. That way its confidential.
