Final Fantasy 7 Snowboard Crash
« on: 2012-07-24 02:58:56 »
This is the first time that I have been on this website so I am sorry for any stupid comments I make. I love ff7 and I got up to the point of where I need to ride down on a snowboard in the snowy mountains in order to progress through the story. I have tried for the past 2 hours to find solutions. However, I was able to download a save state right after this point off the internet and it worked.

The problem is I was following a walkthrough and this person obviously did not. If I have to use it, I will, but I am so frustrated from losing all that work. Also, I found a patch that says it would fix the problem. Unfortunately, that patch doesn't seem to be usable on a mac. (I know, sorry. I'm getting a PC soon after I realized macs are terrible with games) Therefore, I am wondering if anybody knows if somehow I can use wine and still keep my progress, have to ask somebody to progress through the story a bit for me, or if the patch actually works for mac. Thanks in advance.

Possibly you could send your save game to a kind person who would pass the minigame, save and return the file to you.

How could I send the save file to them?

They are very small files located in the .\saves\ folder.
Email will suffice.
