I hope I'm in the right section, if not, I apologize in advance. Having run Bootleg recently for the first time, I only get one Crash--namely, when entering a battle, and apparently only when Yuffie is in my party. I went back to reverting to the old Yuffie model, and that didn't help. I managed to confirm it was Yuffie by swapping people in and out and not getting any problems, and testing multiple saves.

Here's my App Log. I don't know if it's just my installation, but my Crash.dmp is 255 mb.....so, unlike the crash message, I don't think I can really upload that to share.  :-o

As it happens, it looks like something to do with Yuffie's animations? If anyone could decipher this for me, it'd be a great help. Of course, if there's any other information I should disclose, please let me know, as I'm still pretty new to this.

If you're installing Bootleg with Grimmy's AC Tifa and Yuffie HQ models, these are bugged in Bootleg 0039.  Actually, I think just Yuffie is bugged, but there's a second bug that always installs her when you just select Tifa, so neither works right now.

This has been addressed and should be fixed in 040, which should be released very soon.

ETA: I just began learning how to mod this game manually yesterday, so I can't tell you which file(s) would need to be changed by hand, so your best bet is probably to either do a clean FF7 install followed by bootleg again without AC Tifa or Yuffie, or just leave her out of the party for now, and wait to reinstall when Bootleg 040 comes out.

PitBrat had said previously he was only waiting on luksy's new version of ulgp, which is up now, so barring any major surprises popping up last minute, it should be up soon.

Thank you for the quick response. I've had no trouble with the AC Tifa model (which I AM) using, but as you said, removing the AC Yuffie model from boot doesn't seem to fix the problem.

Reinstalling is an option, but I'd like to avoid that if possible (I've reinstalled FFVII six or seven times since yesterday, oy). I might try installing another Yuffie model on top of it, if possible, or look up the actual model I need to replace.

I'm no expert, but those sound like reasonable options to me.

And hey.. I've *attempted* to install FF VII about 20+ times a day for over 3 days now without success, so... things could be worse.  ;D

Since I'm new to Bootleg, I'm still pretty used to editing the model database file (I forget the extension) to replace models, so I just need to find a good Yuffie model to replace it.
