re fight emerald ruby and ultima

emerald, ruby and ultima are the test for many setups with weapons and materia and so forth. is there a way to make these enemies stay on the world map to fight again and again even after theyre defeated without loading an old save

So basically you want to be able to fight the weapon monsters whenever you want without having to load a save ? i did create a program a long time ago that allows you to battle any monster any time you want (the only restriction is you have to use it in the FIELD, it doesn't seem to work on the world map itself, so just go into a town to use it)

Also on a side note my virus scanner does detect this as a virus, i assure you it isn't, i created it a long time ago using CE which most virus scanners detect as a virus now (i really should get my lazy arse around to remaking these old programs now i know more)

Let me know how you get on with this, also if there are any more battle values you need i do have a lot more values for different battles now then i had when i made this.

Black Chocobo save editor can reset your ruby and emerald weapon in options tab however i do like the idea of refighting them over and over without restarting the game each time  ;)

I wonder if beating those ( ultima, emerald, ruby ) sets any specific flags in field ( probably not since they're on the worldmap )
if yes, I could add a choice to some NPC that allows you to unset that flag and fight em again.

I checked the one thing I actually know relates to thoese things and thats the old man in kalm that trades you emeralds and ruby's items.
but i can't really find anything that looks like its set by beating weapons

can you add an option to any character or does it have to be someone that already is connected

I could add the option to any character or even events ( such as entering the north crater ) but i would actually need to know where the flag is stored and if I can access that from the field

myst6re gave me the variable for emerald / ruby, but I need to edit a savegame that far into the game to test it.
If it works right, I'll include ruby and emerald ( not sure if resetting Ultima is a good idea because of how it changes the landscape ) reset into my Nightmare overhaul
You'll just have to go to a specific point and select an option to reset the weapons
if resetting ultima ( I only have the values for ruby and emerald right now ) works without causing the worldmap and the game to go haywire... I'll include that too.
