I installed FF7, ran bootleg with my chosen mods, and when it was finished, everything seemed to be installed just as it should be; however, when I start the .exe from anywhere, I get flashes of screen resolution adjusting, and an icon on the taskbar... for all of about 3 seconds, then the program closes inexplicably, and this is far as I can get no matter what configurations I tinker with in Bootloader.

I've checked and double-checked that the game's running in compatibility mode with the proper settings, as well as running as Administrator.

I'm on Windows 7 64-bit. Any thoughts?

EDIT: This is what my APP log looks like currently.. if that helps.

Hi

If you do not install FF7 on "Program Files" you will save yourself some trouble.

So should I reinstall from scratch and save it to a new path outside of that?

EDIT: Did what you said, and now it seems to be running just fine. Just wanted to say thanks for taking the time to give an obvious answer, I was having a lot of trouble sifting through forums to try and find my problem. Much appreciated.

go to config.exe, set to custom driver, nvidia - tnt, then again select custom driver as it changes...
then do okay and see if it runs

but yes defiantly don't do a systems folder, do like C:\ff7 or something

HEY ZENTOST. I saw on another thread that you had problems with cloud's weapons not showing and Aeris's battle model only half showing, did you fix that? If so, how? Sorry to ask this way, I'm just glad I caught you. Lol.

i installed the  weapon pack mod manually which got the weapon to show

http://millenia3d.net/ff/cloudswords_installer.rar

as for barret, i ended up using the default model and after running bootleg i manually installed the barret model
