I agree with it because I have seen what he has and know he is right.  8.4 for that film is ridiculous as a score and he is right that people come onto a review site to judge whether a film is good.  The mistake he has made is believing the score will tell him.  I learned a long time ago that a lot of people giving a score of 7 are lambasting what they are reviewing.  A 7 to me would mean "good"  but to many it can mean what they want it to.. they might even be giving 5 points for graphics which is ridiculous imho.  I am in favour of a review site that calculates the score for you based on individual scores you give to each main part (for example character development).

But the point is, I believe what he is saying is true and so that's why I agree with it.  Perhaps the reason he hasn't bothered writing a large review like I did is because he knows people will just come back and say "that's just your opinion"  "it's all subjective".  I can't blame him for not wasting anymore of his life on what was, a badly made film.

Hey, @DLPB, did you like the cartoon version?

I did.

For the recent version, let's say I fell asleep a few times throughout the film.

The cartoon version was better paced and got the characters/events closer to how they should be portrayed, (unlike Jackson who arrogantly thinks he is a better writer than Tolkien, and isn't) but I found it largely unwatchable due to the voice acting and script..  but it was at least trying to be the Hobbit.  The new film was just purely for profit and cheap thrills...  For a lot of people that seems to be great, sadly.

Hey, you know how this reminds me of something else?

The recent game for the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch called Final Fantasy: All the Bravest

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mIcYtcBDpMs

If one lives in the United States of America and has the will to buy the game (3.99 USD) plus all the add ons (0.99 USD per premium character purchase times 25 equals 24.74 USD) that would be a total of approximately 28.73 USD. That is 18.11 British Pounds Sterling all in all. Random Premium Character? What if I wanted Cloud Strife? Would it cost me 12 USD just to get him? Screw that!

A user of the iOS named @K bone wrote the following review:

Code: [Select]
The death of final fantasy.

This game is awful. That is all.

An hourglass to revive your party costs 0.99 USD or 0.62 GBP. You need these allot in the game.

UPDATE: I was wrong about the GBP. According to @+alistair6969, it is more expensive. This is what @+alistair6969 wrote:

As @DLPB would say, this game is a "Square-Enix Cash Out." But hey, it is a BRILLIANT idea. It is probably paying for the development of other games like Final Fantasy Type-0.

A good laugh at the mass destruction being caused by SE to the hearts of the faithful of Squaresoft:

Luckily, I have three f*$#&g good copies of Final Fantasy VII to keep me from worrying about this company's multiple shameless instances on making money.

I have FFVII (which I PAID for in FULL, not PIRATED) on the Playstation Portable (SE had to make it available for the PS Vita or the PS Vita would fail), the PC (I converted the 2012 version to the 1998, then bought it a second time to have both versions) and on the Playstation 3. Best version in my opinion is the one from 1998, which I wish I could buy a copy of. Oh yeah, I am poor, never-mind. It shall have to wait.

This may not compare to the instance of a Tele show being superior to a three film series, yet one may get my point.
