Well the Americans call it soccer, the rest of the world technically calls it football. Unless FIFA changes it in order to not confuse the poor US citizens ^_^

Actually, I'm more concerned with what you Americans call football. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you only use your feet for the actual propelling of the human mass, as well as kick-offs -- the rest of the time the goal is to clutch to the ball (with your hands) and desperately try to avoid the rather heavy opponents, who share an intense wish of being on top of you. Why is this called
football, and not - oh, let's say, rugby?
