Yes, I know this probably goes somewhere else, I just couldn't figure out where. And yes, I know this question has been asked a bajillion times, but none of those solutions worked for me. So, here's the thing, I'm using .iso images mounted to virtual drives (both my PC version discs and my PS1 copies are no longer working, for some reason, or I should say, only a couple discs work in each, and I don't have any blank CDs to burn the images to) and when I run "setup.exe" I get the initial loading page, but when I click install, nothing happens. Same thing when I use FF7inst.exe instead, "setup*32.exe" starts up in both cases, but it uses no CPU resources and never actually boots the installer (trust me, I let the thing run for 8 hours, hoping it would start, but nothing). I've checked, double-checked and triple-checked for any instances of chrome, but there's nothing running. I've tried rebooting the pc and running it immediately after restart, but still doesn't work, and the best part is I can't install it in safe mode (which seems to be the only way that it installs without issue) because virtual drives don't work in safe mode. I am at a loss of what to do from here. Using Alcohol 120% (but I have DAEMON Tools, as well) Anyone have an idea what might be wrong?

3.00 GB RAM
AMD Athlon II Processor (not actually sure why you'd need anything other than the OS, but... who knows?)
EDIT: Never mind, I found some blank CD-R disks, so that should solve my problem.
