Problems Configuring FF7Music on Steam version
« on: 2013-07-16 03:39:54 »
Hi I have tried to find the answer high and low for 3 days now and no luck, I have followed the bootleg tutorial to the T and get all other mods working perfectly except for the FF7Music mod, it will only play the Prelude song and then nothing else after the train FMV, I have tried multiple different soundtracks ( FinalFan Tim OGG, bootleg and anxious heart all ) I have tried about a dozen times each time with a clean copy and using the reg entry remover. no luck. I think the issue is with the configuration of the plugins since I have checked and confirmed that the files are selected and in proper place in the FF7Music configurator. I would like to use FinalFan tim's soundtrack and am looking for the proper setup to get it working properly.

I am running windows 7 pro x64
nvidia evga gtx 660 sc 2 gb
realtek ALC887v ( cheap 888 ) with coolsoft virtualmidi with crisisgeneral3.01.sf ( flipping amazing )

Try my music folder

http://united-odc.de/data/Final_Fantasy_VII/Mods/FF7Music_1511_RE.rar

Please rename "FF7Music" folder in example "-FF7Music", otherwise this will continue to be used.

Please tell if that works better (important).

Hi I registered just to respond that this did work for me. THANK YOU! I've been trying to get music working for days. This did the trick for me with my Steam install, win 7 64. Everything else in Tifa's bootleg worked, except ff7music.
