Where can i find the program......

hi..... i tried the chocobo patch... did not work... now i see the faq i want to do the change code thing.... im guessing its visual c++ the program i need to do this....if not can some1 tell me wat the program is and give me a link....thanking u muchly

The answer is....  C++ is a programming language, and Visual C++ is a software used to write C++ based programs (Well, I think it can do other stuffs other than that, but I'm still new in programming, so....). And C++ isn't free, go and check Microsoft's website if you're interested in it.

I think the "Change the code" that he is referring to is the need for the use of a hex editor to edit the code of the EXE manually.  You can get UltraEdit-32 (the program I used to patch my FF7) from www.download.com .

Did you get the same error as before the patch, or was it different?

The main reason I'm asking is to determine if your crashing was due to the Chocobo crash or to something else... (I have the something else crash... It's a bitch...)

I thinki if (s)he doesn't know what VC++ is, (s)he doesn't need to care 'bout changing the code ... hehe ... I think at least our programmers know that you need to know a programming language well to change its code (especially if it's made by a skilled programmer like Qhimm)

So ... I'm not sure, but I think this topic won't lead to something useful
