Party follows like ff8??

I recently installed the bootleg mod manager, and while playing the kuugens nightmare mod I noticed the characters follow you like they do in ff8?! Is there anyway to implement this outside kuugens nightmare?? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!!

It's a looped code and could be inserted but is pretty damn annoying tbh because you need to give them spawn coordinates and special scripts for stuff like ladders. The original code is from cloudiar though, I adjusted the beta code to be less buggy. ( and it still is somewhat buggy )
