Tactics?

i am one of the lucky owners of this incredible game for the PSX (I bought it from a guy for $29 who was gonna trade it to Software ETC for $20)

couple things...i was told that Squaresoft was gonna make a compilation for the PS2 that contained all the game that were released for the PSX, including Tactics, and possibly even Anthologies.  Anybody know anything about this compilation?

also, how does the game run in bleem?  i don't own bleem yet, because i've heard that it doesn't work with a lot of games.

FF7 to FF9 will come to PS2, don't know about FFT. FFT runs fine in VGS, not good in bleem!

I've played tactics on several emulators before.
It works on Bleem with graphics corruption on menus and some annoying sound "dragging"
It works on VGS with no apparent problems
It also works on epsxe with no apparent problems.

Note that I've played the whole way through so I should know  
BTW, my copy of Bleem is the original.

is VGS a free emulator? I've never heard of it before...

It is not free. It stands for Virtual Game Station. It belonged to Connectix before Sony sued it. If you want, I can e-mail you a pirated version.

sony DID not win against connectix,
they simply came to an agreement after hulkun intervened  
they will cease developement as of next month

anybody know of an emulator with GameShark codes?  like what Nesticle has?

I wasn't *that* improtant in the Sony v. Connectex trial. (At least, I hope not) Sony simply found out that they couldn't win and bought the Gamesataion Division. At the end of the month Sony's gonna fire everyone and eat the Gamesataion. Simple as that. I was going to be a witness, but Sony bough the comapany.

well sony couldnt win cos they couldnt claim that connectix used trade secrets in CVGS becos u had alreay documented all those features in ur famous psx dev doc.
