Best Audio and Video for FF7
« on: 2014-04-04 08:42:22 »
How do I make FF7 look and sound the best.  I dont want any alterations to the sound/music and only graphical alterations that make the game look more HD.

I tried Tifa's Bootleg but the FF7Music wouldnt work for non-FMV parts, even after applying a patch for it.  Then after uninstalling FF7Music and putting in AnxiousHearts, it still did not work.  But I see other things like Aali's Graphical MOD and I wonder is that any better or easier to setup?

Aali's OpenGL driver isn't a mod, but it's required for most mods to work. FF7Music should work right if you don't change anything after installation, and it doesn't there's a way to make it work.

Yep, what Vgr said. The patch is in the FAQ section of Tifa's Bootleg. But since you've already done some weird alterations after installing Bootleg, there's not guarantee that it will work now. It'd be best to start fresh (also listed in the FAQ on how to do) and use the patch if still needed.
