Can FF VIII (original modded PC version) AND Steam version work on same computer

Hi guys,

I modded my original PC version of FF VIII with the great mods that we found here and for the sake of it I would like to compare it to the Steam version.

As my original version was working fine, the one I bought on sale from Steam, I couldn't make it work....

Tried to uninstall it and reinstall it without succes...

Is it a know issue that both version can't work on same computer ?

I'm running it on a Win 7 x64...

I have both, and they work fine together.  Maybe update your graphics drivers?

how do you do it?
what should i not do when i have more then one copy of FF7PC installed ?
any other good advice about keeping multipal copies of FF7PC installed?

I don't know about FF7... especially if you have to use the Steam to OLD converter.  The versions of FF8 work independently of each other.
