It's a high quality tech-demo at least. It might get ported to console if it's popular enough. It did say 3-on-3 battles. It'd be hard to get an arcade machine to support all that.

Also, this title looks too magnificent to be Arcade exclusive. This needs an console port.
I'm looking forward also to Squall recycled model.

I think they look really close to the CG artwork they created for the first one, have a look at this:

They look almost identical, I think they just have brighter texturing to keep that sprite look they were going for, and slightly different faces.
