EQ2Alyza, thank you a ton for all your work with 7th Heaven!  I'm a long-time lurker in the forums and seldom post as I rarely have anything to add lol.  I've encountered a game-ending crash on my way to Mt. Nibel.  It seems to be crashing whenever battle scene #581 is called.  Any chance you can tell where the problem is occurring?  Below are the details of my mod selections and my APP.LOG.

What field scene is it in?

Have you tried isolating the situation by deactivating battle related mods one-by-one and checking for a crash?

No change in behavior after disabling all battle-related mods.  The crash only happens when battle scene #581 is called.  I've successfully entered battle with scene #583, as indicated by my APP.LOG.  I will attempt to enter battle in vanilla FF7 to see if I am successful in figuring out which enemy grouping is causing the crash.

In vanilla FF7, no mods enabled, the encounter that registers as scene #581 in APP.LOG is with three Kyuvilduns.  These are the green grasshopper-looking enemies.  I have a hunch that the 60FPS mod may be causing it, so I'll try changing my Animation mod options and report back.  Thanks again for your help!

Tested alternate Animation options to no avail.  Still crashing with that single battle.  Going to try toggling the Gameplay mod options next.

It's Hardcore + The Reunion causing the crash.  Not sure if it's anything you can fix or if I should assume it's an issue with changes made by gjoerulv's hardcore mod?

EDIT:  Hardcore standalone works fine.  Hardcore + Beacause crashes.

I think I have a theory as to why this crash occurs with Hardcore + Beacause enabled...  Gjoerulv created a new enemy that shows during the #581 battle scene along with two Kyuvilduns.  I'm guessing this new enemy is not referenced correctly in the Beacause script.

Sorry for the necromancy but the same thing happens to me during certain scenes when using Hardcore + Beacause.

2 examples include the first area of Mt. Nibel when you come back as adult Cloud with your party (I don't have a log right now but it's easy to reproduce) and at the Icicle Lodge Area in the world map. Here's the end of the log of that one:

Maybe this was fixed in the latest version of The Reunion? If yes, could that version be incorporated in the catalog instead of R03e? (I believe the latest version is R05c). Alyza, sorry for not creating a new topic for this, but I thought that gathering the buggy battle scenes that cause the game to crash would be better so that you (or someone like you) can investigate the issue. My solutions for this so far are to simply either turn random battles off via the Tweaks and Cheats mod, or temporarily disable Beacause and use only Hardcore till I'm out of said area. It hasn't happened in any other areas other than those 2.

EDIT: Another crash occurred apparently from a battle while using the 2 mods together. This one was in the forests of Mideel. Here's the log:
