FF7 Crash
« on: 2016-06-27 02:15:55 »
So after following your tutorial and modding the game, I launched the first time the screen just went black after the eidos logo, I closed, retried, then the game loaded... As soon as cloud jumped off the train it crashed... This is what I get..

I loaded the mods one by one and found "The Reunion - Beacause and Menu Overhaul" is the cause. At least with it deactivated the game runs. Not sure if it's a conflict with other mods or anything.

Are you launching the game with ff7_bc.exe in your Workshop -> Settings -> FF7 Exe?

Someone else was having a crash issue when clicking the Launch Game button. I've narrowed that issue down to the Disable Mouse option in Gameplay - Tweaks and Cheats. This is unfortunately not related to your crashing since you don't have it checked to turn on.

I will have to enable all your mods and then see if I can duplicate the crash. If I can, it'll be a longer process of trial-and-error to figure out which mod causes your crash. There are a few culprits I suspect may be the cause, but I'm not sure atm.

If I can't duplicate the crash, then I won't be able to figure out what's causing it on my end. You will be stuck having to figure it out on your own from there.

It seems It was pointing to ff7_mo.exe which i changed back to ff7.exe when I disabled it. I obviously didn't read it properly. I just read "The Reunion - Menu Overhaul" and thought that was it.

Thanks for your efforts :) I'm enjoying it so far  :-D
