As wonderful as using vorbis to encode something might be.. Winamp3 doesn't seem to support plugins or I'm clueless it doesn't HAVE a plugins director (prior versions do).

I suppose I can watch the japanes version although I would be challenged to know what they are saying :)

The version I encoded above *should* be no different from the Ruliweb version in the link provided by nayoung, besides the encoding format. In other words, mine is in Japanese as well. Not to worry though, there isn't much speech :)

BTW, I posted a link to the codec in my first post.

Yes I finally got a pack that would add all possible codecs in and watched it.. unfortunately due to my japanese ignorance I have no idea what they were saying (not that they ussually say a lot in the games) :)

I think Paine's character is a 'more angst' than Lulu person.. I think :)

You can also get the trailer here (MPEG, 27.7MB). I've posted the translation below. (Thanks to Olivier Hague and meznu of the GameFAQs FFX-2 forum). Anything not in quotation marks is the vertical text that appears. Also, the line marked with a *... I'm not too sure about that. There seems to be too little japanese for the english translation.

I've also made a SMI caption file for the trailer. When I upload it, I'll post the link here.

Anyway... on with the translation!

Yuna: "It began when I saw a Sphere with somebody who looked like you."
Rikku: "That's him... right?"

The visionary sphere was the key?

Yuna undertakes another quest.
"Sin" is destroyed and the Yevon Church has fallen.

*Machina has been absorbed by the people of Spira like a sponge soaks up water... it's everywhere.

Paine: "Do you want to get him back, or not?"
Paine: "I've always been chasing the past, but..."

Even in this time of calm, there is still conflict...

"A Sphere that relates the truth about Spira's history is hidden in the Kilika Temple. They're trying to hide the truth, just like the Yevon Church did before them!"

Meet many new faces!
Discover the truth about Spira!

Yuna: "With Sin gone and the Calm upon us, I thought the peaceful days would last forever..."

What will Yuna find on her journey?

Yuna: "My body... it's shivering."
Yuna: "The Eternal Calm... I felt like it was crumbling away from beneath us..."

Rikku: "Ah!"
Rikku: "That Sphere with him... wasn't it recorded here?"

Yuna: "It's linked... everything is linked... I have that feeling..."

Rikku: "What?"
Paine: "What's that?"
Rikku: "It's an Aeon!"
Yuna: "Why?"
Yuna: "Stop!"
Paine: "Do you want to get killed?! We have no choice but to fight!"

Yuna: "Is it you? Or do you just look like him?"
