I just got a new PC (my first real gaming PC) a couple days ago and literally one of the first things i did was look up how to mod FF7. Since i'm a true newbie when it comes to modding it took me quite a long time to get everything set up and had a number of hiccups along the way, but i was finally in a place where i thought i had finally set everything up in just the right way in order to finally play. Game starts, runs well and doesn't seem to have any major issues but there are times (not all times) where i enter battle and the screen just stays black and i get an Oops! error message. Music keeps playing but the screen doesn't go anywhere. Just for reference i haven't even planted the bomb yet a single time in the opening mission in at least 10 tries , although honestly only 3 of those times was from the actual crashing issue, all the other times my party was just wiped out (new threat mod is no joke lol). I've checked around but i haven't been able to find any explanation as to why everything seems to work fine, even in other battles that i actually can partake in, but for some reason there are times when my game decides to crash when entering other random battles. Even though i've barely even scratched the surface of playing while modded i've already been enjoying what i'm seeing quite a bit but obviously this issue is severely limiting me. Any help would be appreciated.
