Game not launching after changing screen

Hello Qhimm community !

I was hoping someone would be able to help me with a little issue I'm having !
I was playing the game with 7th heaven normally a few days ago on my laptop connected to a Samsung TV (I've always played like this), but I went away on holiday and I wanted to continue my playthrough on my laptop, but now every time I launch the game, I see the usual black square on my screen and then the game just force closes itself with no error message whatsoever, it just refuse to launch.
I tried to run the config (with the chocobo head icon) but still don't work.
I tried connecting it to a TV not working either.
My guess it have something to do with the fact that I'm not playing on the TV I'm always used to play. Because the game was running perfectly 3 days ago and I didn't modified it, neither updates windows or anything at all.

I really hope someone can help me so I can continue to enjoy that amixing game with all the mods from Qhimm.

Thoughts....
1.  If you were playing through your television, and especially if it was via HDMI cable, it's possible your sound was configured to play through the tv as well.  Removing the TV removed the sound card FF7 expected to find, hence a crash.
2.  Running the FF7 config program outside the game converter also causes breakage.  Re-run it, and choose "overwrite" when prompted at the beginning.  Then reconfigure and test your sound options when it calls the config program for you.
