Yeah, I think I did every sidequest and saw all secrets in FFIX.  The only things I didn't do were:
1) Get the Excalibur II (I think that's its name) sidequest. Completing the game in 14 hours sounded kinda boring.
2) Collect all the cards, since I found the card game boring too.

As for the letters thing, I'm guessing I got them all, since I completed the sidequest. The prize you get sucks though, the real prize is probably just knowing you completed the huge task.

Dagger's real name was pretty boring I think. That reminds me, once I played FF7 and named Red XIII Nanaki. When I got to Cosmo Canyon, it was kinda funny to see everyone so shocked to his real name was Nanaki.

Well, you can always wait until clock resets itself!!!
But eerrrr, what do you mean by prize? Do you get a keyitem or ???

The clock doesn't actually reset itself (112 hours of gameplay does show as 12 hours, but still counts as 112). I suppose you could wait even longer until the gameclock really runs out of bit space, which could be either at 256 hours of gameplay, or something like 500 days (or worse!) :o  Depends on actual implementation.

Has anyone replayed the game? I haven't once I finished it. I've played with ripping textures out of it etc but not much else.

As for getting done in under 14 hours.. well I suppose I could make another plugin to handle that for PSXmemtool.  finding what part of the data has the CRC calculated on it then finding the timer location..

Just in terms of 'trivia' Chrono cross keeps the time in ticks.. so my guess is the time would be calculated differently depending if it's PAL or NTSC.
Why couldn't they put an RTC on the PSX (real time clock) that counted seconds and 1/100's of a second Sheesh (hehehe).

Uhh, let's see. When you save Mognet and stuff, Stiltskin (or the whoever the one is with the shiny fur... Artemecion) gives you an item for sorting everything out. Thing is though, it's a pretty lame reward. The item's fairly rare I think, but it's not really that great, and there are much easier was of getting them like the chocobo quest. If only I could remember what it was called...
