7th Heaven 1.56 R6 Extra folder bug

Has anyone figured out a fix for this bug yet or where one would have to look to fix it?
Im talking of the bug that spawns a new pair of direct and music folders in the extra folder window every time you start the game.

If thats the case, why even keep it as the main download?
Does it cause long loading times only for people with low spec computers like me? Its just seems weird to me keeping on the tutorial page with such a glaring bug when the 154 version was way more stable.

Yes, it can cause loading delays, but there's no reason you can't periodically wipe the duplicate entries from the box.  As for why 1.56 over1.54, I think the biggest reason is that it relocates the cache and library to places less likely to cause issues with system permissions (but I could be wrong about that)

Battles take forever to load even on my i5 3570k with 16gb of 1866mhz ram and a nvidia 970 far from lowend even tho it isn't the latest and greatest setup. I have tried both running it from my SSD and my HDD and it doesn't matter which disc I use.

Are you removing the duplicate "direct" and "music" folders from the "Extra folders" box on the 7H config screen?  I've got a slightly lesser spec'd machine than you, and it doesn't take long at all for stuff to load.  What about your active mod listing and load order?  Maybe there's multiple entries affecting the same object that are getting in each others' way.
