Error starting FF7 (Solved)

Hello everyone,

I have the Steam Version and I followed all the Install Instruction but I get alwayse this message on the Screen.
I also uninstalled everything and startet again but the same.
Any solutions ?

Okay I found now a solution with the 640x480 compatibly settings.
But still have troubles to play with an XBox360 controller.

Could you post your Profile Details from 7th Heaven?

Did you make sure that all paths are correct? (no double dashes or weird spaces)

Did you change your .exe - path if you are using Beacause/Menu Overhaul?

Did you check the compability options for the .exe you are using? (640x480 resolution; I also enabled "run as admin" for all .exes when I ran into some problems)
