i've got a problem with my ff7. it's beeing run on a PII 400 with Voodoo2 DX5 driver, on windows 98. there are no problem with graphics, video or anything until after you've blown up the mako reactor, after about 10-15 minutes of playing. then there's a video sequence showing the reactor exploding, and then all of them are gathered in what looks like a cave, and someone says "well, this should keep the planet going for at least a little while longer", or something like that.

right after that sequence the screen goes black, and what sounds like explosions are heard. but nothing more happens. the sounds just continues in an infinite loop. still the game hasn't crashed since when i press "q" i get the message dialog asking me if i want to quit the game.

anyone got a clue what's causing this?

One of your movie files may be screwed up. Soon after that, a movie is supposed to play of flames flying out the door. Or...have you seen this movie before?

[Inside Joke="mofokubik"]Wow, nothing like blowing a mako reactor, Lavos style[/Inside Joke]

You could move all of your movie files to your hard drive and change your registry to open the movie files you copied to your hd, instead of running off the cd... Mine was so bad I couldnt watch the squaresoft logo without it freezing.
