Trying to patch ff7.exe with chocobo patch...

I point the patch to the right file ----> ff7.exe.  Then I click on the patch button and it says that it is not able to identify my game executable...?

I am puzzled on what to do next...plz help if you can !

               Amd Athlon with winXP
               2.08 ghz with 512 ram

Have you got any other patches for the game installed? Perhaps the executable is corrupted in some way. If it's not too much of a pain you could try a re-install of the game.

Thx for the advice, the reason I did not try this before is cause I tought I would loose my progress in the game !

Hey, I have the patch, and i keep gettin an error message sayin "File Not Found" even tho i've checked and rechecked to see that it IS the ff7.exe file. Is it somethin to do wit my version? I don't know what i got, so if u could tell me how to check that too, id be most happy. Thanx, check ya lata.

I don't know much about the chocobo patch....

But maybe you need to run the executable in the same directory that the FF7.exe is in?
