What is Junction VIII?
Junction VIII was created as a hard fork of 7th Heaven, tailored to the needs around Final Fantasy VIII providing for the very first time a reference modding platform for the game. Currently supports the original 2000 release and the Steam 2013 release.

Yes! Finally some FFVIII love, thank you to the entire FFNx team and community; Years ago I worked on a faithful upscale of the UI (same thing I did for FFVII), I guess it's time for me to dig in my old hard drive!

Do I still need tonberry tool or not? If not then can I use both?

Also do you think it would make sense for this manager to be able to make use of existing Remastered installation content? You cannot redistribute remastered models of course so a mod is off the table, but as a manager ability it would make sense to since there is no piracy.

So basically make an iro from the remastered assets if the player owns it or somehow inject them on the fly.
